I love your musings, Wendy. That stream of consciousness thinking and writing is what keeps us going. If we couldn't muse, where would we be?

Furthermore, I hate Christmas because of just what you describe - the feelings of guilt, envy, embarrassment, etc. Why would we welcome that every year? Yuck! On the other hand, the lights are fun.

You know Wendy...all that priest's philosophy on pain and suffering and those who forsake freedom worrying about the bugs in the grass off the side of the sidewalk that night bite ya! All that sort of "bent perspective" has humorously evolved into a little simple thought as I see the "Big Divide" between people:
Some people live to die; others
just die to live!
