He was a wonderful spirit. Having lost my parents at a very young age, Don, as I called him, stepped in and filled a void after I married his son, David. Don was a gentle and caring soul. He was one of those people who you truly enjoyed being around, talking with, and laughing with. I am so honored to have had him in my life....he will not be forgotten. But as this generation of people start to disappear one by one, I can only think that George's pictures of the past will become even more important to preserve.
